Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is an inter-denominational organization designed to promote Christianity into the hearts of many teens in South Dakota. The TEC program is formed by teams that help give the candidates an opportunity to know God, growth in their faith, and make many new friendships with people wild about Christ!!!.  CrossRoads Teens Encounter Christ is an interdenominational youth ministry that holds three-day retreats in local churches across the Sioux Falls area.  Our call is to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.  We tend to focus solely on this message and shy away from denominational issues and discrepancies. The TEC mission is to present clearly the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the written word, spoken word, music, drama. This message is demonstrated through gifts of service so that, by the end of the weekend, a student will be given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior. If participants are not ready to make a commitment at that time, they will understand God's call on their life well enough to give it ongoing consideration until the time when God moves them to respond.  For those who have already made a personal commitment, TEC will challenge to make a deeper commitment in their walk with Jesus.  No student who seriously partakes in the weekend remains the same. As soon as the candidate walks through the door on Friday morning, he surrounded by a team which provides, love, prayer, friendship, food and much much more. All participants are challenged, and if they accept the message God has put on their hearts, they will walk away changed.
